92 Clubs – Schedule – Day 1 – Accrington Stanley, Aldershot, Arsenal, Aston Villa

To get a good start, I will be spending the night of the 30th September in Accrington.
I shall get up early, visit the stadium at Accrington Stanley and then get the first train at 6:17 to Leeds.
From Leeds, I’m booked on the 10:05 to London Kings Cross, arriving at 12:30. I have decided I bought the wrong ticket for this leg, so I’ve started a saga to get an earlier ticket, and not pay the earth for it.
I then rush to Waterloo and get the first train to Aldershot, hopefully visiting the ground and getting back to London about 16:00.
This ticket has just cost me the princely sum of £6.20 return. But then I’ve got a Senior Railcard and a Freedom Pass. The latter means I actually have to get a ticket from the zone 6 Boundary.
This should just about give me time to get to Arsenal and to Euston to catch the 17:03 to Birmingham for Witton, which is close to Aston Villa. Hopefully, I should get a train back to London after the visit to Aston Villa. If not, it’ll have to be a coach.
Incidentally, the last leg to Villa and back is costing just £14.50 return.
Hopefully, I’ll end up home in bed at a reasonable time.
