Am I Reduced To This?
I went to Waitrose on the way home today and bought a Genius loaf and two tins of sardines.
So is this all I will be eating tonight? No!
But some could imagine I was living on the breadline!

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

I have been living on tofu and tomatoes for the past three days so I would welcome some sardines. At least I will be going out for a few more groceries today 🙂

It was a brilliantly simple hole filler. I liked it so much, I made sure, I’d got more sardines in the cupboard and eggs in the fridge. The sardines cost 58p and the eggs 54p, so you can’t say it’s expensive either!
