So Ann Widdecombe is still in Strictly Come Dancing! I just think she’s had her fun and now is the time for her to go. So do the judges, but the British public keep voting her back in!
My bet on Pamela Stephenson is still there and I’m hoping she goes all the way!

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

I dont watch the programme. However, my observation on all these type of shows is that people who are not particularly skilled at whatever it is are often kept in because they are percieved as more interesting than the ones who are flawless.
I dont watch I’m a celebrity … either. But I know a lot of people who are really enjoying watching Gillian McKeith show herself to be a wimpish drama queen. I did watch it the year David Dickinson was in, he lives near me went to the school I was chair of governors of, although of course not at the same time, and I have met him. The group that year gelled together, and it was an interesting to someone with a pyschology degree to watch the interactions between them.
I believe that quite a few of these reality TV shows would not pass ethics committee approval if they were being conducted as experiments by psychologists or similar.
