I Need a Bookcase
This picture shows one side of my living space.
I need a bookcase to go alongside the stairs, hopefully in a similar wood to the dresser. Any ideas?

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Depends how much you are willing to spend. Globe Wernike (sp) would look nice, and having glass fronts they keep the books fairly dust free. They are however rather expensive, when an aunt died about 17 years ago she had a lot of them, and they went to auction, we got about £400 for each of them then. This link is to one on ebay, which is not a place I would buy them from but the picture is good. http://tinyurl.com/39u4dkw
Assuming the other furniture is antique, I would wander around the antique shops and antique markets around London. If it is modern, then I have no idea. Our house is a strange mix of antique and Ikea although they are rarely in the same room.
youngest daughter’s furniture is Ikea, and her bookcase is very nice, she didnt opt for one of the cheaper ones, it is paler than your furniture, but they often come in different colours.
