How About An iPhone Tax?

I hate smart phones and I did try one once and found that it gave me no advantages, but many disadvatages over my Nokia 6310i. To be fair for someone like me, who’s had a stroke, smart phones are just not robust enough.

One of the major troubles with iPhones and their cousins is that people spend so much time playing with them, that they don’t do their jobs properly.

So perhaps, if they had a higher rate of VAT, then the extra revenue raised could be used to fix the problems that smart phone addicts don’t solve.

  1. how funny. I couldn’t manage any phone (including my iphone) for a few days after my stroke but, after that, I was so grateful to have a smartphone in hospital. It does things I couldn’t do on previous phones, like let me check my email and use the internet. I would’ve been lost without it. It was my lifeline for a few weeks. Still, everyone is different i suppose.

  2. Saw this and thought of you. As you are so organised you might like to take advantage of the free bus tickets available here:

  3. We’re all different CN. I had a laptop in hospital and could just manage that! Everybody should be allowed a laptop in hospital, as it would ease so many pressures on staff.

Karrie. I’m not that organised and prefer to travel by train or use buses in cities or walk.
