Those That Hide Will Eventually Be Found

There must be a joke going round about Ronnie Biggs, Saddam Husein, Osama Bin Laden and Ryan Giggs, as all of them have tried to hide from their misdemeanors and have eventually been found.  Or in the footballers case, found out, as it was usually obvious where Ryan was, at least once or twice a week.

Truth be told, Ryan should have stuck to the day job!

The lawyers will be sad though, as they don’t like losing a client with more money than sense.  On the other hand, they will have the divorce to look forward to!

  1. The sad thing about this is that there are some people who really do have a very genuine reason to keep something away from the media, things not linked to sexual exploits or crimes etc. For example, they may not wish to find the press everywhere when they come out of hospital after chemo, and may wish to keep their cancer diagnosis out of the newspapers.

    • You can always take the Danny Baker approach to cancer and tell the truth. He got a lot of respect for that!

  2. People vary. And peoples families vary. If we were doing something which involved the press, we would sometimes get patients being willing to be involved, but then their family asking they didnt do it because their family, usually sons and daughters, had decided not to tell their friends because of the endless pitying looks and comments. I can identify with that, when I had a very serious scare about 12 years ago, I told people, and I wish I hadnt. From first visiting doctor to being told they had got it before it became cancer was 4 weeks. During that time, cancer was all anyone except Neil and I wanted to talk about! It wasnt helpful.
