What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Actually, this picture isn’t really fair to the bridge works at Holloway Road. These are road works are mainly to do with the Archway gyratory road planning that is going on at the same time as the bridge works. Some of this work has been postponed due to the chaos of the bridge works! I wonder which clever bright sparks decided to do all this work at the same time? Their sanity must be brought into question? As if this isn’t bad enough, The rail bridge at Highbury and Islington Station is undergoing work too, with a planned road gyratory scheme at the Highbury Corner roundabout in a similar style to this work going on at the northern end of Holloway Road. This area is rapidly becoming a living hell with road closures, diversion and bus route changes enough to totally confuse anybody!!
