About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

It does seem to support renewable energy, but, there does not appear to be a long term stratergy. There is a lot of talk of satisfying the ability to achieve net zero carbon by 2030 , or so, but is it achievable in 50 years and more into the future? Why are we so obsessed with a zero carbon environment? How will we grow food and how will trees grow with no CO2? Are we over thinking how the world works?

It’s more about being carbon-neutral, than zero-carbon. After all, quite a lot of soft fruit is enhanced with carbon-dioxide from industrial processes.
I think, it is very unlikely flying between the UK and Australia will ever be zero-carbon. But by planting the right number of trees, it could be carbon neutral!
