Installing the Virgins

Men living alone have curious habits.  But two things they need are decent broadband for the Internet and football on the television.

As the new house is in a cable area, one of the reasons, I visited yesterday was to get the cable connected.

By twelve and ahead of schedule, they were both working, after installation by a competent and charming young lad, who didn’t seem to make any mistakes, except leave a cable in his van and go back to retrieve it.

I also got a speed of 54 Mbps, when I’m only paying for 20!

So virgins aren’t as expensive as they used to be!

  1. Virgin arent bad, we have been with them since they took over whoever we were with before them – ntl I think. Our service provider has changed several times with take overs. I didnt like the email system, but they have changed it, and it is okay now. From what I hear from friends who have braodband via a phone line, cable connection is much better – we had cable TV as soon as it was available because the starting deal was very very cheap, and having grown up in house with no TV, I was aware of the social affects on children and teens of not being able to join in conversations about TV shows.
