Pope to be Exhumed
When I read that Pope John Paul II was going to be exhumed and the coffin put on display, I thought it was a joke. But it’s here on Reuters.
It just proves to me that I want nothing to do with religion. Except of course with the basic principle of trying to do the best for the greater good of everybody.

Since Popes cannot even have a post mortem, there are loads of rules around the death of popes, I am surprised to hear this. There are different rules for individuals who are sanctified, but he isnt yet I dont think, although he is on the path to it.
I am not Roman Catholic, and dont have the concept of saints, or follow anything the Pope of the day says. That said, I had a lot of respect for JPII, he seemed a good man. But I do wish the RC church would get away from this nonsense about contraception being sinful!
