Wales Get It Right on Smoking
They would appear from this report, to want to ban smoking in a lot more places, including cars with kids in them.
They should also ban smoking at bus stops.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

I agree about bus stops and also outside cafes etc.
But there is one place I would allow smoking, indoors in specially airconditioned rooms for certain categories of people. And suprisingly, that is hospitals! Places where relatives are in a severely stressful situation, such as ICU, I would have a place close enough by, but far enough for the smoke not to be a problem, where they could go and have a cigarette. Smokers are addicted to nicotene, and in such a bad situation, they should be allowed an occasions smoke for humane reasons. No staff or anyone else allowed in though. I do also think there a case for an indoor smoking space for certain patients, because when they are so ill anyway isnt the time for them to go cold turkey.
I have never had a cigarette in my life, and actually would ban them completely from being sold. People are not allowed to smoke in my house, car or garden.
By whilst they are available, I think there is a case for treating smokers humanely in those very specific circumstances
