My Views on the Royal Wedding
I have been accused of not being in favour of the Royal Wedding. I have put up the occasional post, but not many.
Admittedly, I did send this message to a radio station that asked what you were doing instead of the Royal Wedding.
I’m going to IKEA and then to Waitrose tomorrow.
Don’t get me wrong, as I had forty years of marriage to a wonderful woman, so I wish the happy couple all the best. But then I do that to everybody, who gets married.
I will watch it to see the frocks and the wedding gown. It will be huge boost to tourism in London particularly, and in other parts of UK as well, because a lot of the overseas visitors will visit other places too, and I gather that the effect of something like a Royal wedding on tourism lasts a couple of years. However, those who have been camping out on the streets since Tuesday are crazy. They would see more from home!
