New Scrabble Words
It has been announced that there are now a lot of new words allowed in Scrabble like innit and thang.
Well not in my house, as I play with a proper set that has wooden tiles.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

I am supposed to do at least 30 minutes each day of cognitive stuff, such as hard sudoku etc to counteract the effect of the medication I take. I have become addicted to a game on facebook called Word Drop. It allows strange words – proper nouns and plurals are accepted, as are odd words of Anglicized Arabic and Yiddish and often it will accept both English and US spellings and the odd French or Latin word.

These words haven’t actually been added to the online version so the only way you can play them is with a proper wooden tile set. While some of the slang words seem suspect I’m a huge fan of qin (a Chinese instrument) and inclusion of many Indian food terms since things like taco have been legit for ages. Fingers crossed for AP.
