Is It Worth Keeping An Old Laser Printer?

I don’t print much these days and if I want something in colour, I have an expensive HP Laser I could connect to my network.

For general printing I’ve used an HP 3390 mono laser printer, that has worked well in the past few years, but it died on Monday.  I obviously won’t fix it and it’ll go in a skip.

Checking prices for a new mono printer, that I can have in my living room, I found a wi-fi driven HP for £99.99 in Currys.  So in other words, I bought one printer for the price of two 3390 catridges. Admittedly the new printer doesn’t copy, but the big colour one does that!

Soon they’ll give you a new printer for just walking in the shop and smiling nicely!  Well not quite!  But you get my drift.
