Erica Roe
Britain’s most famous streaker is Erica Roe who ran across the pitch at Twickenham during an England Australia match on 2nd January 1982. She was mentioned on BBC Breakfast this morning. According to her Wikipedia entry, she and her family are farming organic sweet potatoes in Portugal.

I wonder who the gent in the left of the photograph is? And note Erica’s belt. We all had belts like that at some time, if you were born before 1960. I haven’t seen one in years.

I agree…she was a symbol of the naughtyness that we still enjoyed in those days…today this picture would only be remarkable because of the apparent ciggarette thats she’s smoking…and yes…who will search for Jody Marsh or Jordan in 35 years time….Titter ye not…LOL

Shame, ‘Billy’ – she also had an awesome pair of thighs under those too-tight jeans! (saw them in all their glory about a week later when she was snapped sprawled out on beach somewhere (still topless, and still with a reefer in her mouth!) Bet she can still turn heads, and is still remembered as was mentioned on the BBC this am!

Hi, a quick note for whoever may still be interested in current news on Erika Roe.
Erika is publishing a nude calendar for the coming year of 2015.
Why now, you may be asking? The answer is, why not? 🙂
The photographs are intimate, natural and carefree as they were taken by her daughter Imogen.
Not being a believer of the fake airbrushed images we all have to look at in our day to day lives, the photographs in the calendar are touch-up free and demonstrate a woman who is confident and at ease in her body.
Part of the profit is being donated towards a chosen breast cancer research charity after Erika lost two family members to cancer.

Well, let’s all hope three years on from that last post that the calendar ‘flew off the shelves’ as they say and made a bomb for that breast cancer charity! (It’s probably a ‘Collector’s item’ by now I should think!
As for the dear lady herself…I hope she’s still well and happy. How she’s etched on so many minds (including my own!) over all these years – this surely must be some sort of a ‘record’ for who was at the time the pic was taken a completely ‘unknown’ person until she made her few minutes of fame at ‘Twicks’. Vive le Sporte!
