Manchester Airport Runs Out of Fuel

Note the first word of the title of this post.

It would appear that the problem is due to the quality of fuel being delivered from the Essar refinery at Stanlow.

The refinery used to be owned by Royal Dutch Shell, but they sold it to the Indian company, Essar, in 2011.

  1. Royal Dutch Shell . . . became world leaders, with profits made by your Artemis Developments. Shell are also closing the Clyde Refinery {Sydney NSW} this month, and converting it to a Fuel Terminal.

When cheap Fuel Suppliers bring in, slightly cheaper fuel from Singapore; you can smell the Paint Thinners additives {illegal but the quality is not checked} . . . in some of the fuel loads.

When the Chinese, were sprung with cheaper chemical aditives diluting food quality milk . . . what else can we expect from the so called emerging Indian & Chinese new greedy industries ?

The amount of Fraud from the subcontinent . . . with their immigrants, is very high: e.g. false vehicle lincenses etc. . . is this a culture issue from new business people . . . or just the old human trait of greed ?

  2. Reminds me of an old ICI story. They used to buy their chemical feedstock in the North East from Shell or BP. This was good, as these companies had a chain of petrol stations in the UK and were able to take the petrol, that ICI produced as a by-product. When ICI changed their supplier to Phillips, they used to supply it as cheap petrol to independent petrol retailers. They had a problem though, in that they had a lot of high-octane petrol, so often, if you bought the low octane one, it was actually the high-octane one. But it was legal and in spec. They did use to put some chemicals they didn’t want in the petrol and there were never any problems. I know once they were debating, whether to get rid of umpteen tonnes of diluent oil from a polypylene plant in the petrol. They didn’t in the end.

As to the immigrants, it’s generally those of Pakistani origin, who are the problem, as you’ve probably read in the news.
