Hard Man Bruce Takes On Apple

According to the Sunday Times, Bruce Willis wants to leave all his downloaded music to his kids and the iTunes agreement doesn’t allow this.

Why would he want to do that?

Obviously, after he’s gone, he wants to have control of his kids’ musical taste.

How arrogant!

At least though for once, Apple have got it right.

  1. I’m with Bruce Willis. If I buy a CD then the next generation can decide whether they want to keep it, throw it away, give it away, or take it to a charity shop. I don’t want Apple dictating what I can and cannot do with what I have purchased. I’ll stick to buying CDs.

  2. Apple & Cloud plus all other Apple so called Helpful Apps are full of crap ideas . . .

I looked at itunes for publishing & using other Apple Apps . . . Everywhere, Apple Big Brother reared its head.
As a Author / Cartoonist / Artist . . . Apple took control, and owned the copyrights, publishing rights etc. and it was all Apple, without the normal ability to negotiate or vary contracts.

You can see BIG BROTHER everywhere . . . No Thanks . . . I ha been there before, when I found out that a Cartoonist is paid $40 per week for a strip, which becomes the property of the Newpaper.

Walt Disney . . . on beat the standover merchants {who always withheld payments, to screw Disney Cash Flow}.
Disney started licensing Products etc . . . then others like the Simpsons, & every major Movie Character could use Merchandising to generate Cash Flow. Apple tries to own everybodys rights . . . even until Death, NOT ON.

    • I setup a web site for a cartoonist, so I know a bit about this. In the UK, I suspect that the ownership of the original drawing owns the copyright. The EU is very strong on copyright law. Unlike the US.
