Two fire-fighters have been shot dead and two have been injured in New York state. It’s reported here.
So what does the NRA think about this one? Perhaps the fire department, should go in with all guns blazing?

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

Probably. The whole gun thing amazes me. I have a lovely web-friend who lives in KY, but I have met her, she spent several weeks over here with a mutual friend a couple if years ago. She is a sweet blonde haired granny, kind and gentle, and at home carries a gun. And considers it normal.
