Stromboli Erupts
I read that Stromboli is erupting in The Sunday Times. There are more details here.
I stayed there once on a visit to the Aeolian Islands. Everybody should try to go to these islands at least once in their life.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
What about JM Travel & Food Guide / Blog with Pix . . . for those who could not . . . “visit these Islands at least once in their Life” . . . many would like to see a JM Travel & Food Guide through your eyes.

I’m certainly thinking of doing something in that area.
What London needs is a guide for tourists, based on all the immigrants, who’ve lived here. For example, few of the Poles, who’ve come in recent years, know the history of the hundreds of thousands of Poles who settled here after the Second World War. When I was at school, every class had its Polish child. I think the trouble with the Poles is that the Communists didn’t teach that story in their school history.
