Cathedral Square, Peterborough
When I was last in Peterborough, the Cathedral Square was a large building site.
It’s all finished now and is possibly one of the best central squares in East Anglia.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
it looks nice, even the McD looks fairly tasteful and in keeping with everything else

I don’t think if you suggested a day in Peterborough many people would be thrilled. But compared to some places, it’s trying hard to improve its image. I think this tends these days to be one of mainly a concrete overspill town full of immigrants.

My mother in law was born in Peterborough and there are still family members down there, we haven’t been for year, they aren’t a family who keep in contact, but I do remember it being ok, and the cathedral being interesting.
