I didn’t believe the story in the Times that the Lone Oak Baptist Church is giving all new members a gun. But it’s all over the web, including here on the New York Daily News.
Let’s hope they don’t open a branch in London!

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

There is some horrible stuff on the internet, often in cartoon form, portraying Jesus with a gun – as well as major Biblical figures such as Noah, Moses etc, to say nothing of the pictures and articles depicting or describing guns in churches. Mostly originating in Souther states of US.
