  1. Not so funny was the incident when the baby in buggy was blown onto the track from the bottom of a nearby stairs when parent was helping someone else on the stairs.

    • I agree. But then that was at Goodge Street, where there are escalators. Some of these stations with lifts are a nightmare and dangerous. The only lift station that is safe is Caledonian Road, which has step free lifts. Surely stations like Goodge Street could be modified like Caledonian Road, with a bit of good engineering design. There should be no flights of steps down to platforms unless they go into a wide unobstructed landing, like say at Dalston Junction.
