Amateurs!
That is my one word response to this article on the BBC, which is entitled Michael Flynn resignation: He had to go, says White House.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

You are more polite than me, I would call them much worse than that.

We’ve all seen enthusiastic new Councillors, who think they and their ideas are the best things since sliced bread and either succeed or fail miserably within a few years.
Sometimes an outsider works well, but it is never sensible to have a whole bunch of outsiders. You could argue that Mrs. Thatcher succeeded because she was surrounded by a lot of experienced political operators like Willie Whitelaw, Michael Hesseltine, Lord Hailsham, James Prior, Francis Pym and Keith Joseph. You may not agree with all of their views, but they knew what was possible, as well as what the public would want.
I saw Lord Hesseltine give a speech recently and he’s still as sharp as ever.

I agree, a person is successful outside a particular field, can some in and make a fantastic successful new path for an organisation. They come with a fresh outlook. But Trump is an idiot, and so are most of his advisers and appointees.
