Boots March In To COVID-19 Testing

There has just been an item on BBC Breakfast, where the Managing Director of Boots claimed that the chemists were rolling out COVID-19 testing.

Only hundreds a day at the moment, but the plans seem impressive!

Announcements like this at this stage will attract the same crowds Supermarkets had thus encouraging spread of the virus . Best wait until a system where people can be sent a message to go and have their vaccinations thus treating people in medical priority first !

I got the impression that Boots are testing NHS staff first.

About This Blog

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.

But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.

And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
