About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Dear James
We have been offline for a few days as the router blipped. Back online now. Glad to see you are communicating and in fair spirit. Loved the view of Hong Kong from your hotel. Bet the hospital isn’t quite so good.
Our latest grandson’s christening went well on Sunday. We are off to Surrey for a few days at the weekend then on our return I am in a 36 hole inter club county knockout at Bury St Edmunds Golf club on Thursday. The weather is supposed to turn cooler by then – I hope – as long as there are no storms. Don’t know if you remember how much I “love” them.
Keep your chin up and do what the physio tells you.
