A Mallard with Twelve Ducklings
Mallards can have up to 13 ducklings, but I’ve never seen this many where I live.
There is no cat around here, but I hope the foxes don’t find them!

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

We didn’t have any ducklings last year, but if you go through the stories in the link you’ll see those from a couple of years ago. That mother protected the ducklings very aggressively.
I hope this mother is the same. I also have lots of coots. They take ducklings.
