Royal Dutch Shell – Service to Humanity

Have nothing to do with this? – I’ve just had four – One to each of the e-mail addreses that used to be on my web site – So someone has bought a mailing list from a scammer.  They all came from an e-mail address at ahs.state.vt.us.  Sounds like something to do with Vermont!  It is this web site that looks totally kosher to me.

  1. I’ve just had another set of four. The e-mail address from which they came was the same and that like the web site looks totally kosher. Perhaps his machine has acquired a virus or someone is using it who shouldn’t.

  2. Interestingly, I contacted Shell about this and they just said delete it. Perhaps that is the best advice but in this case they do have a chance of catching who sent the spam as it was from a genuine e-mail. Whilst, companies don’t take their responsibilities seriously about prosecuting scammers, we wll have no chance of getting the real offenders in court.

So I’ll not be buying Shell fuel for a few months!
