Around Liverpool Pierhead
I walked through the shopping centre, got my hotel for the night and then moved on to the Pierhead and the new Museum of Liverpool.
In the 1960s, the Pierhead was the bus terminal and much of the area was just bus parking. Now it is much better.

I love the lambanas. I know someone who has one in their garden – a real one, bought when they were auctioned off.
You can walk from the pierhead along the banks of the Mersey to Otterspool, where the Harvester restaurant are very coeliac aware, on occasions I have had my salad direct from the kitchen so that it isnt contaminted with gluten from the salad bar. The mayo is GF by the way

The lambananas are wonderful.
I’ve never walked along the river to Otterspool, but I once was involved in throwing a piano frame into the Mersey to see what sound it made.
