The Priory
The Priory Clinic is well-thought of for sorting addiction and other mental problems.
However, I was surprised to see that it was advertising in a local glossy magazine at my dentist’s in Notting Hill yesterday.
Perhaps they’ve found it’s an area, where many of their past clients live.

Like other companies, Priory are being hit by recession. Fewer people have health insurance, more people are going abroad for addiction treatment, South Africa is a popular place. Other rehab centres are springing up and there are more and more non-residential rehab places. And Priory group was bought out about 18 months ago. Ethos is different. So not really surprised. Plus more people are using 12 step fellowships to get clean and sober without going into rehab first, there are so many AA meetings around it is not difficult for people to several meetings a day.
