Everyone and Everything Is Leaving Me!

Not really, but it sometimes seems so.  I now have no mobile phone and won’t probably until I get my Nokia 6310i in a few days. My wife and son have both left me and all I get is a visit from an occasional friend. The radio is just going on and on about the Diamond Jubilee and today’s episode, is not what I’m interested in.  The torch relay has stopped for lunch and there is nothing to do this afternoon. My health seems to be going downhill rapidly and it seems that I get tired walking just a hundred yards or so.

At least Suicide is Painless!

But that is not an option, as it’s not painless for those left behind. My other son, who’s working today, by the way, has suffered enough grief in the last five years, and I would never inflict anymore on him, by my own hands.

They’re having a party in the Square, but do they really want me there, as I’m just rather a miserable killjoy at the moment.

    • Thanks. I did complain a bit to the lady organising the self-service check-outs in Marks in a humorous way and she gave me a hug.. C and I always hated Bank Holiday weekend and if it fitted with her case-load we usually escaped to the sun.

  2. I meet up with friends each Tuesday morning early in Altrincham, and usually the market traders are setting up their stalls and there is lots of bustle and the coffee shop is quite busy, and when we leave the shops are all open. Only place open today was M&S, no market, half empty coffee shop. Streets deserted, even car parking spaces along the roadside.

  3. I remember a blog last year . . . “I wouldn’t be dead for quids” . . .
Grower Older, with the aches & limits on what we cannot do is also affecting me . . .

Let us remember . . . When One Door Closes, don’t sit looking at the closed door . . . look around at all the open doors. In Oz they have . . . Men’s Sheds {workshops, were men meet & make things}. Recently, men with hobbies have started to gather together to share & car for each others.

It is now your time to enjoy the comapny of men, with similar needs to get a new group that meets & enjoys hobbies or interests {have fun & laughs & enjoy} . . .

Opposite where I live is a lake and weekly groups meet and sail radio controlled Boats & another group fly radio controlled model planes . . .

The problem is ours . . . Planning to be useful, enjoy our leisure, have fun . . .

    Last year your trips to the football grounds . . . was a start . . .

Now with these new great buses in London . . . start to help others who have similar problems, show them how to volunteer. Since the 2000 Olympics in Oz, we have Volunteer Groups started up all over Oz, we just look up our web “Volunteering London” and find groups, you would like to visit.
