The Australians Have Called For The Bus
It’s just gone six and there is at least 30 minutes to go. But the Aussies have had enough, so they’ve called up the team bus.
It looks like they’ll lose by eight wickets. Even the two video replays haven’t helped.
The weather plays such a major role; when both teams have such great bowlers who can bowl seamers, in-swingers, out-swingers, flat skidders and any combination of above.
Whoever wins the toss . . . has more control of what Tactics . . . Bat or Bowl. Yesterday the weather changed from seamer / swingers to flat bowling.
In Oz on the last tour by the English . . . some days, weather changed several times during the innings, so balanced out each match. Whereas in One Day Matches . . . it is sudden death: one team has Morning dew / dampness & the other has potential of changing during the day.
Whereas in 20 / 20 . . . the afternoon can be fine, and the evening dew / moisture change the conditions.
The Test series of 5 days, evens out the matches, when teams contain talented Bowlers like England & Australia have . . . 2013 Tests in UK will a beauty . . .
No complaints . . . this is the best English team for 50 years . . . well done.

Agreed. But this is the worst Australian team I’ve ever seen. And that includes the one that lost by an innings in Manchester in 1956, when Laker took 19 wickets. I was off sick from school at the time and virtually watched every bsll in glorious black and white.

The Aussie Team fell apart when the present Captain Clarke, was appointed a selector . . . he got rid of several top class players {like Kaspervitch} . . . because the called it as it is . . . and surrounded himself with his own state players . . . FANCY PLAYING injured players, just because they are drinking mates . . . How DUMB.
I agree . . . I also thought of Laker, when I compared this English Team . . . This English Team would have won, if they batted last . . . imagine being too scared to play 4 overs at an average of 1 per over . . . GUTLESS & undeserving of an International Cricket team BUT very desreving of being called . . . “the Worst Australian Team ever”.

My physio’s going to get some stick on Tuesday. He’s from Brisbane.
It’s just a pity, the match against Ireland in Belfast was rained off. I wouldn’t have given this group of Aussies much change of beating a bunch of Irishman, who usually have Arthur Guinness as twelth man. Remember, they once beat the crack West Indies team in Dublin. According to the number of people, who claimed they attended that match, it was the biggest sporting event ever to take place in the Emerald Isle.
