Didn’t Anybody Tell GreaterAnglia?
I took this picture of Class 321 EMUs at Ipswich, as I left after the football.
Red doors have long been associated in East Anglia with bad beer and services. It’s the legacy of Grotneys! Who of course were infamous for Watneys Red Barrel. In my view the worst beer ever made. Although I did have one called Red Centre in Alice Springs out of a tin, that came close.
It’s the red word again.

EMU’s . . . Oz Rail Cars . . . were common on narrow gauge 3′ – 6″ Brisbane Metro
except we have two large – Aircons at each Door . . .

I don’t think ours are air-conditioned. These trains are mainly pre-1990, when that was not on the spec. They are built on the legendary Mk. 3 coach design, which means they ride extremely well. The coaches are an all-steel monocoque and are rated for 200 km/h. If my driver is going to crash my train, I’d rather be in a Mk. 3
