A Korean Police Car
There was a time, when the Police always had British made vehicles.
Not any more! But then a trip to Seoul is much more interesting than one to Ellesmere Port to see them being made.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

This Problem has occured a lot in OZ, especially with HR people. HR companies get up to $48K for each person employed. So the HR kids {with little experience or expertise] jump at Trips to London & EU to hire people for projects {not even considering OZ Experienced People}.
If a HR person came from the Subcontinent, then we travel back home for free trips to employ {Less qualified} people . . . but we wer able to show off to folks back home. This problem also includes food , equipment etc.

There was also the classic case of a British department store, that decided to cut down on buyers’ travel expenses. A side effect was that they bought a lot more British goods.
My father was always very cynical about buyers. And with good reason!
