The fair in Kings Cross Square was going well, when I visited this morning.
Do we need more open spaces like this, to put on events? Of course!

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

I know they’re thinking of having a space for public art and other events, in the redevelopment of Dalston Kingsland shopping centre.
Come to think of it, some of these spaces and those in Underground stations are very secure, so why don’t we put some of those large bronze sculptures that get nicked and exported to China as scrap, in them? The Henry Moore that Tower Hamlets are selling to raise money could perhaps be displayed in a station in the borough. If it was a busy station, it would certainly get seen. It could almost have a mini-museum of its own! But it would be impossible to half-hinch!
