What Doctors Won’t Tell You

The Guardian puts the boot in to a publication, some think should be banned, in this article.

It gave me a good laugh.

I’ve had several people say that if I eat bread made from organic wheat, it won’t harm me. But not for some years, as now the organic freaks are often on a wheat-free kick as well.

  1. Article is excellent! People tell me that eating spelt for example would be fine. They also tell me, and this is people who should know better, that fruit sugar is good sugar, wont affect my blood sugar and doesnt have calories like table sugar. I have also been told if I lose weight my coeliac disease will go away, ditto my diabetes (that is a common fallacy some doctors believe as well) and best of all, my damaged nerves will repair if I lose weight.

    • just been to the doctor and we’re agreed that a lot of my problems might be down to dry air, as for some reason it seems to cause all sorts of problems with me. at least it probably explains my sick childhood and why I felt so dreadful after the stroke in Hong Kong. Louthborough University are saying air quality is a real problem with many houses and flats, as the heat can’t get out because of the insulation.
