Is Romeo’s On The Up?
I’ve been to Romeo’s Gluten Free Bakery a few times, but last time, which was a few months ago, it wasn’t a good experience. Compared to some of the bad meals I’ve had in the past, the food was very good, but the service to say the least left a lot too be desired.
As I passed today, I noticed they had a board outside and it would appear they are selling sandwiches.

Is Romeo’s On The Up?
I think the time has come to give it another chance!
I worked in the service industry in all positions for 5+ years. Service can make or break an otherwise amazing joint —

Part of the job of staff in a restaurant, is to give customers a good experience, so they come back and recommend it to others. I can think of several restaurants and cafes, I’ve visited regularly because the staff were good. The classic was the Pizza Express in the Pitt Club in Cambridge, where my late wife and I would deliberately go there after the cinema, as the staff were so much better, rather than one up the other end of the centre.

I go to Cafe Smithy in Hale Barns because the service is good, and they understand GF and avoiding cross contamination etc.

I know two dedicated gluten-free places; Romeo’s and Vozar’s. They are both totally gluten-free as is my kitchen. So you don’t have to worry about cross-contamination.

I suppose that might explain the lack of customers whenever I walk past!
