A Pocket Dog
I saw this little puppy on a 56 bus.

A Pocket Dog
Her name was Bella and I think she was a Cavalier cross poodle.
She didn’t seem to mind being on a bus.
But then one of my bassets didn’t mind flying in my aircraft. She just wedged herself between the seats and went to sleep.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

These little doggies are popular around here with young women, who probably have them as baby substitutes. They are very tiny, and I have occasionally been sat in my favourite coffee shop with friends and a found a little wet nose nuzzling my arm. Our daughter has a house bunny who is her baby substitute, and who is gorgeous but not as nice as a grandchild would be

This dog was fifteen weeks old and was being looked after and carried by a professional dog sitter.

Hello! I am the dog sitter in the photo. I remembered you took this a while back, and I found your card, so I have scrolled through your blog to see if I could find it. Bella is tucked away in a puppy sling that I am wearing over my shoulder, it’s black so you can’t see it very well. She was indeed a very tiny little pocket puppy in that picture, she has grown since and is quite a bit heavier! I miss my dogs, as for the last thirty years or so, I’ve always had at least two.
Where I live now and my constant travelling lifestyle wouldn’t be fair on a permanent dog. But sometimes it would be nice to be given the responsibility of a dog for a few days, whilst their owner or owners was away.

Have you heard of this? https://www.borrowmydoggy.com/ – If you have plenty of experience with dogs and would like the opportunity to spend time with dogs now while their owners are away etc. then there are definitely options. Hope you are well x
