The title of this post is the same as that of this article in the Architect’s Journal.
The Eden Project in Morecambe does seem to have the look of a serious project.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Eden Project Morecambe is excellent idea and would improve tourism in the area – people in Lakes could travel down, even people in Southern Scotland. And people staying (or living) in Manchester, Liverpool, Southport etc could visit too. I would certainly go. I quite like Morecambe – went a a child sometimes, and then when our children were young we took them to FrontierLand – a fairground on the sea front. It rained, poured all day. The girls got one of those plastic poncho things these places sell. No queues for rides, a wristband for rides which you could use as many times as you wished and they were old enough to wander around the place together, without us following. It was a very small fairground. Neil and I found a cafe in the middle, with a view of most areas and sat and drank tea – they were rarely out of sight. And the girls had a fantastic time – they bobbed their heads in to us every few rides – to drink some of whatever drink they had, and to tell us this was the best fun ever. In fact they still talk about it “do you remember when we went to Frontierland and it rained all day and was best fun ever”
