Tottenham Hale Station – 9th September 2019
These pictures show the progress on the Underground part of the station.
It will be a big glazed structure.
There was talk of the station being completed this year, but I’d rate it for Sprint 2020.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
Really enjoy following your posts about Tottenham Hale Station! The glazed structure is much bigger than I had envisaged. I assume that there will be a station structure (as yet unbuilt) that will fill in the void in the first picture between the bottom of the staircase of the overbridge to the glazed structure.

I think you’ll find that what’s there now will be the end! They may demolish the old station or turn it into something useful. The new buildings on both sides of the line are free standing and complete in themselves.
You don’t need big ticket halls these days as everybody is going contactless.
