What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

I got into a discussion on LinkedIn about this. I can think of two test centres in Germany and the Czech Republic that offer more comprehensive facilities than this planned one for Wales.
Will rail manufacturers ship their vehicles to the UK for testing? I should also mention that stock movements of test and non-commissioned stock on BR metals is generally more restrictive than on the Continent
Yes it can be a National Centre of Excellence and a valuable asset to handle the missing facilities at Old Dalby ; but a global one, please……
