Up, Up And Away: Flying AirCar Earns Its Wings

The title of this post, is the same as that of this article on The Times.

This is the first paragraph.

A supercar that comes with wings attached has been given the green light to take to the skies.

It has been given European certification.

I will be very surprised if the Klein Vision AirCar is a success!

Thanks for posting something to smile about. It may have received a certificate of airworthiness from the Slovak Transport Authority, but I wonder about it getting through Construction and Use Regulations for road vehicles. The propeller in particular raises one or two questions.
Mind you if you were driving up the M1 on a quiet night at 100mph, I wonder if you could convert on the move to escape the cops chasing you.

About This Blog

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.

But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.

And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
