What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

How are things going with you?
I was sad to read the story about your son – I knew he had passed away but I didn’t know the situation or realise he was so young , how difficult that must have been.

Thanks! It’s why I believe all babies should be tested for coeliac disease. When he was born, there was no simple test, but now it’s easy.
I also have two friends, who have a coeliac parent, who have not been tested.
I’m fine except for the weather and the rail strikes.
