I Have Just Been Microsofted
Since New Year 2026, I have been experiencing problems running Google Chrome on Windows 10.
Google Chrome and Windows 10, seem to get their boundaries on the screen in a twist.
I asked Google AI, this question.
Is there a problem running Google chrome on Windows that has arisen since new year 2026
I received this answer,
There is no widespread, new functional problem running Google Chrome on Windows that has specifically arisen since the new year of 2026.
However, some users may be experiencing issues due to a new attempt by Microsoft to encourage the use of its Edge browser, or existing, ongoing security update requirements and occasional compatibility issues.
- Microsoft Promotions: Microsoft has started 2026 with a new tactic to prevent Chrome downloads or steer users toward Edge through recent Windows updates. This does not impact the functionality of an already installed Chrome browser, but may present hindrances to new installations.
- Security Updates: Google frequently releases security patches to address vulnerabilities (including “zero-day” exploits that are actively being used by hackers). If you have not restarted your browser recently, you may be running an outdated, potentially unsafe version, which could lead to performance issues or security warnings.
It looks to me, that Microsoft are following Trumpist tactics of being the bully.
I will just keep rebooting my computer, as that seems to work.

Prudence is a Bully?
According to the news yesterday and today, Prudence is rather a bully. So what’s new?
He’s beat and bullied the poor British taxpayer enough in the last few years and despite trying to show another humane face, the real one always keeps turning up.
But whether these stories are true or not doesn’t really matter. It’s the fact that they exist at all, that does.
I’ve always believed that to get the best out of your staff, you have to praise and cajole and only use the big stick, when all else fails.
So Prudence is not setting the best example to us all. Especially, as his government has brought in all sorts of politically-correct behaviour laws so we adhere to their norms.

Bullying
Tom Daley did brilliantly to win the gold medal in the diving in Rome yesterday. But he has also talked about how he was bullied at school.
I was bullied a lot at school. It started in my Primary School, but a teacher spotted what was happening and paired me up with a larger boy, who lived just down my road.
But it really started in earnest in the second year at Grammar School and continued intermittently until one day, when I was in the fourth form. A regular tormentor, who I won’t name here, was turning by arm upside down and pummelling the muscle underneath. It was painful and after some time I’d had enough and probably for the first time in my life I fought back. It was a disaster in that I fell and my arm twisted and thye humerus snapped.
It wasn’t funny.
The bone was repaired but it has troubled me all my life since. Well it did, until I went to a fitness expert, who gave me exercises which sorted it out. This just shows how much if you break something you must have proper remedial treatment.
But what happened to the bullying?
It stopped for ever.
Since then though I’ve usually stood up for myself, just like I did in Naples.
It is interesting to postulate, that Tom Daley’s form this year, has been down to the elimination of the bullying from his life. I know mine improved and once it was stopped, I never thought much more about it.
So, if there is any bullying in your or your family’s life, you must eliminate it. Once the bullied know it is not there, everything will be so much better.

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
