Churches in Old Goa

I’m putting up some of the pictures of my holidays in the last few years.

These are the churches in Old Goa.

It is a World Heritage Site and well worth visiting.

  1. the Portuguese? influence is very clear to see in these photos. (I think it was Portugal that “took” Goa to be part of its empire at one time?? Pls correct me if I’m wrong 🙂

  2. They were Portuguese. Note that the one with the tower on the right is the largest church in Asia.
