It just goes to prove that advert breaks and sport do not mix!

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

I agree. I am not a football fan, and wont be watching any of the matches. Indeed, findmypast.com, a family history site, is free of charge during England matches, and hubbie and I will both be on that site!
But I do think that any advertising breaks should only be during what I think is called “half time”.
But the TV companies just want to make money out of advertising!

What I really want is a button on the TV or Sky that cuts out all the adverts. I’ve never responded to a TV advert ever, except to switch it off. I think I’ll post a list of advertisers and say don’t buy products from these companies.

If you watch on the catchup/i-player etc there are no adverts
