A Warning About On-Line Loan Brokers
The BBC is today warning about on-line loan brokers, who take up-front fees and then don’t give you a loan. Apparently, there has been a large rise in complaints to the Office of Fair Trading.

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.
It amazes me how gullible people around money and loans. The TV adds make loans so easy and such fun to have! And as the whole payday loan business, offering up to £1,000 for up to 31 days, within 15 minutes, folk must be doing this for the firms to exist, but the interest is crazy. Living within ones means seems to have gone out the window. Or perhaps we are boring fuddy duddies paying the balance of our credit cards in full each month.

In my view the only way to have fun with loans is to lend money out on Zopa. I’ve done it for a couple of years now and find I get a much better rate than the banks!
