About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

I have never watched SCD. I watch Coronation St – started when the girls were younger, we would watch together and then I could talk to them about the storylines and discuss the choices the characters made etc – I watched various such things with them. Now they are grown up, the only one I still watch is Coronation St. I kind of got hooked, but then I vaguely know some of the cast as well, they all live around here, and it is common to go into a restaurant and see some of them, and walking around Manchester or Trafford Centre.
What is an outsider?
