Is there a better way to wait for proceedings to start?
It was a good match too, with Josh Carson scoring his first two goals for Ipswich. When did we last have two good seventeen-year-old strikers, who’d come through the Academy?

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

Seeing the picture has brought to mind a query I was going to try to find out. To get into the Britannia stand when walking from the railway station, does one have to walk along Portman Road, around the back of the North Stand to the entrance or is there another route?

It’s slightly quicker to do the other two sides of the square, but there really does need to be a better walking route from the station.

Thank you. Is that turn left at Staples? Last time I went in the Churchmans stand and had to walk all round the ground to get to the turnstiles. I didn’t mind but it did seem a bit of a trek!
