Princess Beatrice was criticised for her hat at the Royal Wedding.
Now according to reports, she has put it on eBay, with the proceeds going to charity.
Good for her! Let’s hope it raises as much money as Myleene Klass’ bikini did!

What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.

The wearer of the hat…has dubious choice in hats…
The ebay decision…why inflict that on any one else? Unless its a charity fund raiser…
Would have thought it was one to go into the back of the wardrobe…never to see light of day again.
Hope she was well paid to wear it….must have been for a bet…

The designer doesn’t need the publicity. After all he does proper hats for the Queen as well.

As I said though it is being auctioned in aid of Unicef and another children’s charity. The bidding is up to £5,000

Some of the hats are odd to say the least, but some of them are nice and some are rather fun. With a few less butterflies I would wear the butterfly fascinator worn by one of the Yorks.
