My Olympic Tickets
I’ve still not heard, if I’ve got any Olympic tickets.
Has anybody else been notified yet?

About This Blog
What this blog will eventually be about I do not know.
But it will be about how I’m coping with the loss of my wife and son to cancer in recent years and how I manage with being a coeliac and recovering from a stroke. It will be about travel, sport, engineering, food, art, computers, large projects and London, that are some of the passions that fill my life.
And hopefully, it will get rid of the lonely times, from which I still suffer.
Why Anonymous? That’s how you feel at times.

Still not heard a thing and I have only applied for preliminary rounds of Ladies Hockey!
No money taken out of my account either.
Did my application get through, I wonder . . .

I sometimes wonder that! But hey, as I have lots of legal friends, they would know that a real cock-up would cost them dear.
I think, that lots of speculators have applied for tickets forv things like the 100 m. final and they are making certain they get it correct. As after all, there will be hell to pay, if the only tickets for something like that are black market ones. I would suspect that they might be changing the ballot rules so that genuine fans get the tickets. I’ve not gone for any high profile tickets and have generally applied for just two and three at lots of events. Anyway, I live near to the site and also to Victoria Park, so hell I’ll just party!

1st June and still no notification one way or the other!
My son in Zurich says it’s easy to apply to the German website and at least you know straight away whether, or not, you have succeeded. Most strange!!!!!

I think we’ll find something strange has gone on. I think they should have sold all tickets on an eBay like process. That way, they would have maximised the return to the Games. It might be hard against people who don’t have the Internet, but how many people without the Internet will be going alone.
